David and his Legends Live band, along with co-headliners Richard Page (Mr. Mister/Ringo's All Starrs) and Wally Palmar (The Romantics) played a long set at the 8th Annual Grand Slam Charity Jam at the Wisconsin Center in downtown Milwaukee on March 17 2018.
Legends drummer Kenny Aronoff put together the musical entertainment, bringing in Legends Live to headline the event after a fantastic opening set from the Bo Deans (with whom Kenny also plays.)
The event, sponsored by Kapko, Medix, and other partners, raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for Camp Hometown Heroes, a free week-long summer camp for children who lost a parent or sibling through service in the U.S. Military. These children made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom. Camp Hometown Heroes provides them with restored hope and healing.
