David presented a TEC Tracks panel at the 2017 NAMM show called "Kodak's Analog Film Renaissance Impacting Music." He talked about the importance that the resurgence of Kodak film has played in cinema, and how that trend is expanding into the music sphere.
David highlighted recent music videos that were made using Kodak film, and previewed the upcoming release of the new Kodak Super 8 camera, which will put analog film into the hands of content creators at an affordable budget, as well as the Kodak Ektra smart phone with revolutionary camera and filters.
Joining David was the legendary Ken Caillat (producer/engineer of Fleetwood Mac's "Rumours" album, as well as albums by his multi-platinum daughter Colbie Caillat) who talked about analog audio recording and the resurgence of vinyl.
It was a fascinating discussion about the past and future of the music recording and filming business.
